What does the role entail?

My job is to keep trains moving in all weathers, ensuring everyone is safe whilst working on and off track. Getting everyone home safe everyday.

What was your educational pathway?

All of my post-school education has been work based. I have been employed by Network Rail for 19 years and everything I have learnt in those 19 years has helped me become the signaller I am today.

What do you love about the role?

Absolutely no day is the same on the railway. Anything can happen at any point where you have to think and act fast to ensure everyone is kept safe.
