What does this role involve?

Typical duties include:

  • Evaluating an organisation’s current environmental impact and identifying areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing sustainability policies to reduce an organisation’s environmental footprint
  • Collaborating with stakeholders such as government agencies and NGOs
  • Monitoring and reporting on the organisation’s sustainability performance

Qualifications

To become a Sustainability Manager, you could complete a:

  • Environmental Science, Biology or relevant Bachelor’s Degree
  • Level 4 NVQ or equivalent T Level in Environmental Science, Biology or related subject
  • Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Environmental Science, Biology or related subject
