About this Job
Mechanical Engineers design machines. They work on all product stages – from research and development, to design and manufacture, to installation and maintenance. As a Mechanical Engineer, your mission will be to advance innovation and expand the product range of your company.

- Designing and developing mechanical products, such as engines and robots, and systems, such as heating and cooling systems
- Using computer aided design (CAD) to create technical drawings and specifications of their designs
- Working with others, such as electrical engineers and software developers, to ensure that their designs are compatible with other systems and components
- Managing projects
Qualifications
- STEM subjects at GCSE grades A*-C
- A-Levels in relevant subjects
- Engineering or relevant Bachelor’s degree
- Level 4 NVQ or equivalent T Level in Engineering or related subject
- Level 6 Diploma or equivalent Degree Apprenticeship in Engineering or related subject
- Relevant engineering-specific health and safety qualifications
