About this Job
The role of a Manufacturing Engineering Technologist is to improve the process of making products, by analysing and modifying new and existing engineering technologies and applying them in the manufacture of products.

- Designing and improving manufacturing processes
- Using their expertise to design and implement new manufacturing systems, such as automation or robotics
- Conducting research to identify new materials, technologies and processes
- Providing technical support to other teams
Qualifications
- STEM subjects at GCSE grades A*-C
- A-Levels in relevant subjects
- Engineering or relevant Bachelor’s degree
- Level 4 NVQ or equivalent T Level in Engineering or related subject
- Level 6 Diploma or equivalent Degree Apprenticeship in Engineering or related subject
- Relevant engineering-specific health and safety qualifications
