What does this role involve?

Typical duties include:

  • Designs, constructs and maintains electrical systems, which are networks of wires, circuits, and components that power different machines and devices
  • Troubleshoot problems
  • Manage projects
  • Work with other engineers, such as mechanical or software engineers
  • Ensures electrical systems are safe

Qualifications

  • STEM subjects at GCSE grades A*-C
  • A-Levels in relevant subjects

  • Level 6 Diploma or equivalent Degree Apprenticeship in Engineering related subject
  • Relevant engineering-specific health and safety qualifications
