What does this role involve?

Typical duties include:

  • Working closely with other engineers, designers and technicians
  • Conducting research and analysis to determine requirements for new products or systems
  • Developing concepts using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Testing prototypes and identifying problems
  • Ensuring that design comply with regulations, standards and safety requirements

  • Relevant health and safety qualifications
