What does this role involve?
Typical duties include:
- Designing and overseeing the construction of buildings, roads, bridges, tunnels and other infrastructure projects
- Maintaining existing structures
- Conducting site investigations
- Ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Managing project teams and supervising work
- Keeping up to date with new technologies

Qualifications
- STEM subjects at GCSE grades A*-C
- A-Levels in relevant subjects
- Engineering or equivalent/relevant Bachelor’s degree
- Level 4 NVQ or equivalent T Level in Engineering or related subject
- Level 6 Diploma or equivalent Degree Apprenticeship in Engineering or related subject
- Relevant Engineering-specific health and safety qualifications
